Description
This project is to investigate the possibility of establishing wave energy harvesting facilities in northern Norway by considering the available technologies from the feasibility, profitability, and life cycle cost calculation perspectives and expanding an existing technology cluster with additional Academia, Research Institutes, and Industries in the same geographical area. Initial studies have shown that wave energy can be a more attractive investment in the northern Norway region due to dark colder winters, as the only renewable energy source that has higher predictability due to existing accurate wave models.
