The project addresses a valid problem in EdTech with a strong conceptual description, but the submission is severely undermined by exaggerated claims ('most people have used my product'), lack of verifiable traction, and vague metrics. This results in poor evidence of real-world impact and low overall credibility.

Description
Meet StudyCommon, students’ new secret weapon for better learning. StudyCommon is a paradigm shift in how university students organize, acquire and retain knowledge. We help students build communities of learning mates to study together and share materials. We then take all of their course materials (readings, notes, handouts and practice exams) and process them using Machine Learning and AI to create reading notes and outlines, knowledge graphs, and interactive, custom self-testing sessions. We also give users tools to pinpoint answers to complex questions from their repository of course materials, all leading to better retention of knowledge, reduced busy work, and improved outcomes.
Our scaffolded information classification system allows the student to understand the connection between related concepts, while building upon itself as the student progresses, developing a rich database of linked information that the student can supplement for a lifetime. Our platform constantly monitors and measures a user’s progress through dashboards and adjusts future study sessions based on past results. StudyCommon allows students to be prepared for each period of a semester, from information aggregation and digestion, through testing, paper writing and exams.
