If you want to be a part of shaping the future of critical infrastructure, we’d love to have you join us.\n\n**Your Impact:**\n\nYou'll build the web interface which exposes a highly distributed system (servers and edge devices) for real-time decision making. High throughput data has to be managed and surfaced to the user in a way that can be quickly understood. Your impact as a Frontend Engineer at Swoop is defined by how well a user can access this information and share critical discoveries. You will build data visualizations (graphs, maps, charts, video/image playback), management interfaces (chat, access control, device/network configuration), and the conception for intelligent systems.\n\n**What You’ll Do:**\n\n- Be a technical leader providing critical feedback, direction, and product ownership. Additionally, you'll help to create a culture of mentorship, guidance, and learning\n\n- Build scalable UI components and API’s to serve/search/visualize streaming and bulk data and understanding of networks\n\n- Build the interface that allows teams to work together, share discoveries, and communicate\n\n- Build map layers, work with map libraries, and create a scaled and automated tile generation pipeline\n\n- Create visualizations that allow our users to understand their system infrastructure and the communication between end points (IoT)\n\n**You Should Have:**\n\n- 4+ yrs of experience in front-end development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS\n\n- Well-versed in React and Redux (or another client side persistent storage framework)\n\n- Competent in web performance testing and optimization\n\n- Strong communication skills, especially in environments with distributed teams\n\n**Bonus if you have:**\n\n- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or strong understanding of computer science fundamentals \n\n- Experience with Node.js\n\n- Experience with map servers\n\n*Swoop Search is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
