Smart Mountain is Deeptech Climate Finance project developing proof-of-concept for the world's first Generative AI Environmental Financial Institution (EFI). It aims to be a digital platform de-risking the financing of blue carbon projects by combining verified impacts and an offset model to scale revolutionary Smart Impact Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). It solves the problem of the trillions of Assets Under Management (AUM) disincentivised from investing in underdeveloped markets (e.g. unverified impact, institutional and governance shortcomings, and suboptimal rates of return) with blue environmental market (e.g. carbon credits and biodiversity credits) potential. The Caribbean has this problem, but it is also the most progressive space in the world to demonstrate proof of concept for Smart Mountain as we leverage its cutting-edge scientific research to establish baseline data for the carbon storage of mangroves and its advanced adoption of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) auguring well for an invigorating future for the Regenerative Finance (ReFi) industry.
