Gaining Momentum

Respirer Living Sciences is a verified, government-certified (DPIIT/IMB) climate-tech startup with ~$475K annual revenue and strategic partnerships (Microsoft Research, IIT Kanpur). The 'Atmos' project addresses the critical real-world problem of air quality in India with scientifically validated IoT hardware. However, the submission itself ('GoldenHeart') is of very low quality, containing false traction claims ('most people have used my product') and generic audience data ('everyone'). The score reflects the strong underlying business fundamentals and technology, significantly penalized by the lack of verifiable user data in the submission and the false reach claims.

Description
Respirer Living Sciences, a climate science startup that builds low-cost, sensor-based air quality monitoring devices and uses IoT and Big Data to provide real-time air quality data analytics.\n\nRecent updates about the company can be seen here:\nhttps://news.microsoft.com/en-in/features/democratizing-air-pollution-data-so-india-can-clear-its-cities-of-choking-smog/\n\nWe are a central government (DPIIT) approved startup having received the IMB (Inter-Ministerial Board) certification (http://atmos.urbansciences.in/images/DIPP5311_80IAC.pdf) - 220 companies in India out of the 22,000 startups have received this certification. \n\nWe are working in two areas:\n1. Building a Real-time Low-Cost scientifically validated air quality monitoring network. This includes the long-range wireless sensing devices (using GSM \u0026 NBIoT) and a streaming data analytics platform.\n\nThe focus is on building citizen-science based solutions and assisting with recommendations for policy makers.\n\nMore about the working prototype can be read here: \nhttps://yourstory.com/socialstory/2020/01/mumbai-startup-device-air-pollution-data\nand the prototype can be seen here:\nhttp://atmos.urbansciences.in\n\n2. We are also working on helping build machine learning algorithms for translational cancer research. Specifically, this means using genomics as well as clinical patient data to better assist in patient-centric treatment decision making.
