The submission presents a legitimate, award-winning NHS initiative ('Research for the Future') suffering from a highly erratic submission form. While the underlying project has verifiable utility in clinical research recruitment (14k volunteers, 250 studies), the submission metadata contains nonsensical claims (e.g., 'marketcap: 75,000,000', 'most people have used my product', and the name 'SwiftStorm'). The score reflects the project's genuine but regional/small-scale utility (<50k users), heavily penalized for the incoherent and likely erroneous data provided in the traction and revenue fields.

Project Details

Description
We are an award-winning NHS-supported campaign that supports researchers to find the right people to involve, engage and recruit to their research. We are an NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) initiative working across north-west England. Established in 2011 as a partnership between NIHR Clinical Research Network Greater Manchester, Salford Care Organisation (part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust), Health Innovation Manchester and North West EHealth. We use a unique 'consent for approach' database of volunteers who are interested in taking part in research, and can help find participants for a wide range of involvement and engagement opportunities including grant applications, clinical trials and other PPIE (patient and public involvement and engagement) activities. Since the programme was established, we have: * registered more than 14,000 volunteers * supported over 250 studies * been recognised with a number of awards and commendations * been invited to speak events and conferences by the NIHR, Quality in Care and Google * received overwhelmingly positive feedback from researchers and academics using the service.
