You're In Business

ReaderGo is an ambitious, pre-launch personal knowledge management tool offering interchangeable views of data (notes, canvas, graphs). While the technical architecture and multi-view approach are highly innovative and well-articulated, the project currently lacks real-world traction, active users, and audience reach. The score accurately reflects its pre-launch status with strong technical foundations but zero market penetration.

Project Details

Description
ReaderGo is a thinking tool that lets users work with notes, canvas, graphs, and spreadsheets as interchangeable views of the same data. It helps people organize ideas, plan work, and explore connections in a more flexible way than traditional note apps. It’s designed to be used daily and evolve into a local-first, extensible system. Current usage includes daily note-taking, feature planning, architecture mapping, and idea exploration during development. The canvas system is already being used to connect documents and visualize workflows internally.
Audience Reach
Pre-launch. Currently used by the developer for daily workflows (notes, planning, and idea exploration). Early testing has been done with a small group (3–5 users) to validate usability and core concepts. Planning a broader rollout after UX polish.
Target Users
People who think in non-linear ways — developers, students, and knowledge workers who use tools like Notion, Obsidian, or Figma but want more flexibility. Especially useful for those who switch between notes, visual thinking (canvas), and structured data.
Technologies
Other, Next.js, TypeScript, TipTap editor, PostgreSQL (Neon), plugin-based architecture, canvas rendering system, custom state and document engine.
Traction Evidence
Pre-launch. Currently in active development and personal daily use. Early feedback from a small group of testers has helped validate the core multi-view and plugin-based approach. Planning public release after improving usability and onboarding. I used ReaderGo to: - plan ReaderGo architecture - map plugin relationships - track feature development - connect notes to canvas workflows
