Gaining Momentum

ProcessProxy Corporation addresses a genuine healthcare optimization problem with patented technology stemming from DARPA and CMU research. However, the submission is significantly hindered by exaggerated claims (e.g., audience reach of 'everyone', 'most people have used my product') and poorly structured metric inputs. For a company founded in 2005 with 30 employees, the verifiable scale is heavily penalized due to unsupported assertions, resulting in a moderate overall score.

Description
ProcessProxy Corporation was founded in 2005 by Terry Rajasenan and Dr. John Cheng. Our firm and its founders have been doing pioneering research for the Defense Department for over 20 years related to technology that can improve how demand is met by supply of resources. We perform both training and consulting of the Process Arbitrage methodology -- a new way to view prevention of problems in healthcare processes -- and also offer shared savings models for solutions to those problems. We enable a "paradigm shift" in how challenges are viewed and solved in a faster, less expensive manner. The company's Healthcare Smartgrid platform is based on original research of the founders that was sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and work conducted at Carnegie Mellon University for data mining and load balancing of computer servers. The Healthcare Smartgrid applies principles of load balancing, machine learning, market arbitrage, and optimization to healthcare data in a unique and patented new system. The Healthcare Smartgrid transforms data into timely, meaningful, and actionable information that improves care quality and allows providers to allocate scarce resources more efficiently.
