Phoodie is a different kind of a food ordering app. We use multiple pipelines of IoT data and Machine Learning to create dynamic prices for customers during slow hours for restaurants. We do this not only to provide an incentive to customers but to also drive up sales volume for the business. 60-70% of operating hours are slow and result in 0 sales! This is wasteful for staff allocation, inventory and is overall hurting independent restauranteurs. Other apps like GrubHub and UberEats prey on this by making restaurants more accessible but provide no incentive to sell during slow hours and charge a ridiculous commission rate that kills the business.
