First and foremost, the purpose of Peak Design is to create happy, meaningful lives for our employees. We believe it so much, we wrote “prioritize happiness over growth” into our mission. We are also on a mission to “make the best things”. For us, that means we design gear that helps you carry your gear from here to there, keep your camera close, and never miss a shot. \n\nWe launch our products on Kickstarter, where we’ve raised over $35M across 10 projects. We’re entirely crowdfunded—no outside investors—and that’s what gives us the freedom to focus on the things that matter most to us. Like offsetting our environmental impact and using our voice to inspire positive change in our community. There are currently 42 of us. We love our jobs, we love each other, and we couldn’t be more stoked for the future of our company.\n\nWe also believe a diverse team is an innovative team and something worth celebrating. A range of perspectives and backgrounds creates a stronger and more creative work environment (not to mention more fun). We’re committed to equality and inclusivity across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and experience.\n\nOur mission is to enable active, creative, adventurous people to better capture and appreciate the beautiful world around them. Right now we are helping people better transport and handle their creative gear and everyday carry: cameras, lenses, binoculars, GoPros, laptops, diapers or any other lifestyle implement you can’t leave home without. You can bet your hiney that we’ll be expanding our product horizons even more.\n\nWe also believe that crowdfunding is the best way to bring our new products to life. We’ve launched over 20 products over the course of five successful Kickstarter campaigns. Our backers are the lifeblood of our company and we cannot thank them enough.
