NaijaHacks is a verified, well-known hackathon in Africa providing genuine real-world utility by fostering tech talent and innovation. However, the submission details are incredibly vague and exaggerated (e.g., claiming 'everyone' as the audience, 'most people have used my product' for traction, and 'all time marketcap: 500000'). This severely penalizes the quality multipliers for reach, traction, and response quality. Despite the project's real-world existence, the poorly documented claims constrain the overall score to the lower end of the promising scale.

Description
NaijaHacks is Africa's biggest tech invention competitions. Uchi Uchibeke founded NaijaHacks to provide an opportunity for young Nigerians to showcase their skills and build solutions that make a difference for them, their families, and the world. As a tech invention competition and invention party, NaijaHacks Hackathon participants have developed solutions to some of Nigeria's most pressing challenges using the latest and greatest technologies. One team created a solution to include the unbanked and underbanked people financially. Another team developed an online social platform to help connect entertainment investors to raw talents. Also, yet another team built a virtual reality (VR) app to enable immersive educational experiences. For 2018, the goal of the NaijaHacks Hackathon was to build solutions to challenges in Agriculture, Education, FinTech, and MediaTech using technologies like Blockchain, Machine Learning, Big Data, etc. The exclusive NaijaHacks Community is a community of all past NaijaHacks Hackathon participants who help each other to 10x their careers and businesses.
