It automatically produces air-gapped backup copies that remain in the possession and control of each local operator rather than continuously connected to a host system or dependent upon cloud/network storage. The technology mitigates ransomware, highly destructive wiper-malware, destructive cyberattacks, and other cyber threats while allowing near instant recovery of previously stored data.
