By developing sophisticated algorithms for the analysis of building models, and mapping these functionalities against prefabrication and modular construction manufacturer capabilities, we can improve design, planning, costing and procurement across the entire prefab value chain. For example, architects will be able to automatically identify opportunities to adopt prefab in designs they are working on, while developers can improve cost planning, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and other key metrics. This will unlock a fully seamless design, planning and procurement pipeline for prefabrication and modular construction, where the goal is 100% automation. As both building models and production lines improve on quality and automation, Modulize will leverage these advances to convert building models directly into all possible element combinations a model could consist of, and translate the results into machine instructions (e.g. CNC) that are fed into a fully automated factory line.
