Project Details

Description
Microwave Amplifiers is a Bristol based technology company who design and build Solid State Power Amplifiers for most applications in the 1MHz to 20GHz range, up to power levels of multi kW. Examples of end uses of our products are Communications, Data Links, COFDM Video, High Energy Physics, RADAR, ECM / Jamming, Test & Measurement, and Medical Applications. 100% in-house manufacture and an extensive stock of microwave materials and components enables us to design and produce production quantities as well as prototypes in the shortest of timescales. Also this approach allows us to keep quality high, but costs down. We utilize 3 main semiconductor technologies, Gallium Arsenide, LDMOS and Gallium Nitride. Each has their strengths and weaknesses and we choose the right technology for the specification required. Microwave Amps is part of Nodica Group. Nodica Group consists of four specialized companies: ScandiNova Systems, Scanditronix Magnet, IECO and Microwave Amps. Headquartered in Uppsala, Sweden, and with a dedicated team of over 240 employees, the Group delivers cutting-edge technologies worldwide. In close collaboration with our customers, we drive progress in sectors such as MedTech, scientific research, and industrial applications. See www.nodicagroup.com
