MedCrypt is a highly established, Series B funded company ($44M+ raised) securing medical devices for 8 of the top 10 global manufacturers. The project has exceptional real-world utility, critical market timing due to new FDA cybersecurity mandates (Section 524B), and strong technical validity. However, the submission itself was of very low quality, containing vague claims ('everyone') and inaccurate traction statements ('most people have used my product'). While the company's actual metrics would merit a near-perfect score, the lack of substantiating evidence in the submission and the lazy response quality significantly reduced the final Proof of Usefulness score through the Quality Factors.
