The project proposes a sports rating platform ('Maet') but the submission is severely compromised by contradictory data (listed as 'Cybersecurity' and 'Climatetech') and demonstrably false traction claims ('most people have used my product'). While the concept of a 'real-world ELO rating' has utility, the lack of verifiable evidence, absence of a functional digital footprint, and poor submission quality result in a low score.

Description
Imagine your favorite sports video game, except in the real world. That's Maet.\n\nMaet is for athletes of all levels and ages. From the young prospect trying to make a name for themself, to the casual looking for a fun pickup game, to the former varsity player who wants to compete at a high level again. Maet provides instant access to games, player ratings, and a high standard of meaningful competition.\n\nIt was founded in early 2022, when two college seniors saw many big problems in today's overall athletic climate. For instance, major competitions are still in the hands of large corporations instead of athletes, recruiting methods are highly outdated and lack any sort of transparency, and accurate comparison of athletes is impossible due to disjointed leagues and conferences.\n\nAt Maet, we are democratizing athletics for all users. Similar to video games, ratings increase or decrease based off of numerous variables like match outcome, the opposition's rating, and individual contributions. Users develop a standardized, video-game like rating, play informal pickup, engage in formal tournaments, and connect with other athletes to form a wider community. A standardized rating across the board then allows for meaningful competition with virtually no barriers to entry, in-depth progress tracking and a true sense of community. Since our inception in early 2022, we have gotten PhD validation for our algorithm, have developed the Minimum Viable Product, and raised bootstrap funding. \n\nWe aim to serve anyone with a remote interest in sports or competition. Users do not have to be high-level athletes or part of any team to join, they just need a phone and an Wi-Fi connection. The app is designed for people who want to play pickup with their friends, find new people to play with, and create teams to compete in tournaments.\n\nHave a role in creating the future of athletics. Apply to be a TeamMaet.
