Lingonverse

Lingonberry is a traditional superfruit widely consumed by Canadian Indigenous, Brown South Asian-Southeast Asian, and Asian communities. Known for its health benefits, it supports cardiovascular, kidney, and liver function. This project introduces an AI-driven prototyping system to assist field berry breeders in selecting organic, sustainable cultivars with greater precision. By integrating artificial intelligence into breeding programs, we aim to reduce labor costs, improve accuracy, enable early disease berry detection, yield prediction, and enhance real-time crop monitoring—advancing both health outcomes and sustainable agriculture.
