Jamshedpur Queer Circle

Jamshedpur Queer Circle is an open platform facilitating a safe non-judgemental space for young queer people and allies to come together and create a support ecosystem in Jamshedpur on queer rights and issues. JQC organises special webinars, panel discussions, and dialogue circles, 1-on-1 coming out stories and awareness sessions with different stakeholders to celebrate and create awareness around LGBTQIA+ issues. It works specifically on mental health and the well-being of queer youth. A world where people from the socially and economically vulnerable communities face no discrimination and have equal rights and opportunities. We aim to work towards a society free from discrimination and providing equal rights to all by co-creating safe spaces for young people from socially and economically excluded communities with parents, schools, colleges, government, and corporate and by empowering and equipping them with critical skills to transform them into agents of change.
