Gaining Momentum

IoT Conduit is a legitimate, hyper-local IoT living lab and coworking space in Burlington, Vermont, focused on green energy and climate-tech pilots. It has verifiable but niche traction as a 'Connector' in the U.S. DOE American-Made Solar Prize and through local academic partnerships (UVM, Vermont Commons School). However, the submission contains severe red flags: the claim 'most people have used my product' is objectively false for a niche B2B lab, and the financial data ('marketcap: 50000') is non-standard. The project has real local utility but lacks the global scale or broad adoption implied by the submission claims.

Description
The IoT Conduit concept brings together Industry, Technology, Research, Community and Professional Partners together to accelerate the adoption of IoT solutions for solving today’s pressing problems through intentional collaboration of citizen scientists. Technology demonstrations of climate-tech solutions will be the nucleus that brings partners together and builds community. We provide a service to start-up companies that focuses on technology demonstrations to lower the barriers to sales. Our Technology Partner Program engages subject matter experts to assist in the creation and implementation of these technology pilot demonstrations. The IoT Conduit is based in the working technology laboratory at 12-22North in Burlington, Vermont. This hub is an existing smart building that has been integrating renewable energy and advanced metering for over a decade.
