InfoNix WebLab (Hobse) addresses a genuine pain point in the hospitality industry regarding high OTA commissions. However, the project submission is critically flawed, claiming 'everyone' as the audience and stating 'most people have used my product' as evidence of traction—a demonstrably false claim for a niche B2B platform. External verification confirms the company exists but suggests it is a small-scale operation with minimal revenue ($1.7K reported in 2020) rather than the massive scale implied. The use of blockchain adds complexity without clear competitive advantage in a crowded market.

Description
Hobse is an API first, Blockchain-based technology to let the hotels to connect and distribute the private inventory and price to their business partners such as Corporates, Travel Agents, Travel Management Companies.\n\nProblem: A system capable of supplying a reliable stream of real-time data is key for every eCommerce business. Unfortunately in the hotel industry, none of the hotels have such a universal system to stream real-time data to eCommerce players. This technology gap being utilized by major Travel Portals to earn more by re-streaming the data they have. This leads them to have a stronghold in the monopolized market where they are earning 35 to 60% as commission and hotels hardly have something. The hotel industry needs better technology to self distribute the well structured real-time data to small portals and offline channels. This segment is unexplored and covers 60-70% of the hotel's business.\n\nSolution: Most of the hotels using various software for every different purpose. Hence the solution should be unique and should not affect their existing software infrastructure. We are using Distributed Ledger Technology to ensure more privacy between involved parties. We are connecting hotels of all sizes into their customers from all segments such as small B2B Travel management companies, agencies, corporates, and SMEs through API and UI based systems.
