Ignite operates at the intersection of Corporate, Innovation, Startups, Venture Capital, and society's Wicked Problems. This is the unique mix we bring to each corporate partner that makes us by far their single most powerful force for Innovation. And because we're setup as an open lab, it's easy to see for yourself and try Ignite risk-free. We mix Innovation and Venture Capital with a boundary-less movement - yes, a social movement! - to create shareholder value and long-term growth by engaging corporate partners in a full on attack on society's Wicked Problems. We started as IGNITE FOUNDERS VENTURES, an innovation and venture capital firm. We were single-minded about out mantra: to build and invest in transcendent ventures by building up and investing in founders. By transcendent, we meant founders and ventures driven by a mission bigger than themselves, who aimed their ambitions squarely at solving society's most wicked problems. This, we believed, was the path to creating the first Filipino Unicorn, the first billion-dollar Filipino company that impacts humanity and matters on a global scale. To achieve that, we wanted to focus on founders. We soon realised that was a mistake: that, to genuinely build up and invest in founders, we needed to build up and invest in the people and communities around them - in human beings. Because, after venture capital, what we needed to inject again and again into our founders and ventures was human capital and collaboration capital - both at such unprecedented scale, speed, and diversity that we needed to build something new. Thus was born IGNITE GIFTS, a platform for Innovation and Collaboration driven by year-round events and media, and by our expanded mantra: To help everyone we touched (Igniters) "do what you were born to do in the company of others who are doing what they were born to do". Out of all this was born the IGNITE MANIFESTO and the IGNITE OPERATING SYSTEM (O/S) was born
