Gozzip

Gozzip is in alpha with ~20 testers. The first implementation is Nostrito (nostrito.com), a desktop client and mini-relay that handles WoT-based storage and retrieval with low-latency local access across devices. The protocol is also being implemented via Nostr WoT (nostr-wot.com), a browser extension live on Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons that provides NIP-07 signing, Lightning wallet, and a Web of Trust engine. Reach is currently developer-focused: extension users within the Nostr ecosystem. Storage pact formation within the WoT social graph is the next milestone for both clients.

Anyone who communicates online and doesn't want a company or server operator deciding what gets stored, seen, or deleted. Today that starts with the Nostr developer community and early adopters of decentralized social protocols, but the protocol is designed for the billions of people currently using platforms that treat their relationships and data as product inventory. Gozzip gives individuals infrastructure ownership over their social life by turning their existing trust relationships into the storage and delivery layer. The immediate users are developers building decentralized clients, privacy-conscious communicators, and communities in adversarial environments where relay censorship or platform shutdown is a real threat. Long term, it's for anyone who texts, posts, or messages and assumes their conversations will survive the platform they happen on.

Other, Bitcoin, Nostr, Web of Trust

The protocol whitepaper is published at gozzip.org. Two implementations are underway: Nostrito (nostrito.com), a desktop client and mini-relay for WoT-based storage and retrieval, and Nostr WoT (nostr-wot.com), a browser extension live on Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons that will implement the protocol's storage layer via a websocket-based interface. Currently in alpha with 20 testers from the Nostr developer community. The next milestone is implementing bilateral storage pacts within the WoT social graph across both clients. Projection: onboard the first 200 pact-forming users within 3 months of storage pact launch by targeting existing Nostr users who already understand the ecosystem but do not necessarily understand or want to understand personal relays or full nodes. From there, growth follows the network's own structure: each new user with 20 storage pacts pulls in their immediate WoT, producing organic expansion along trust graph edges rather than requiring top-down marketing.
