𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺: ⚠️ In India, 89% of high school students have been plagued with an information overload regarding potential career paths, along with a lack of clarity and guidance accompanying the same. Consequently, many students first enrol in a university degree course purely out of cultural necessity, without taking into account their own interests or aptitudes, and only begin to consider their career prospects at a later stage. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 💡 'FutureYou' employs an AI-powered recommendation system that helps mitigate the aforementioned issues by reversing the chronology of career and course selection, as it first provides clarity to high school students (classes 9-12) in terms of their career paths and then accordingly enables them to select courses based on the chosen career. This is put into practice by providing algorithmic recommendations with regard to the careers best suited to the student, the accompanying university courses best suited to those careers, and the corresponding university courses best suited to pursue those courses. Additionally, secondary features of 'Future-You' include the recommendation of preparatory online courses, the relevant scholarships for the recommended universities, and virtual campus tours of the universities.
