Gaining Momentum

First Derm solves a genuine problem in healthcare triage with a practical solution and shows promising technical innovation with its AI dataset. However, the submission includes exaggerated traction claims ('most people have used my product'), vague target audience definitions ('everyone'), and unclear revenue metrics, which significantly lowers its credibility, evidence of traction, and response quality scores.

Description
First Derm is changing the field of dermatology. We have a portfolio of dermatology applications that provide both consumers and businesses a faster, more convenient means to receive professional advice on skin care. Dermatologists are overloaded with patients and it takes weeks to get an appointment. After sending in an image our users are "triaged" by a dermatologist within 24 hours with a possible diagnosis & treatment. 70+% of the users skin conditions can be treated at home or with over the counter medications; there is an enormous cost savings to the user and allows dermatologists to take cases that matter. In our business side, we have developed a HIPAA-compliant researched platform that streamline primary healthcare patients to dermatologists. We have had over 300 000 app downloads to date and 30000 answered queries from all over the world: Sierra Leone, Sydney, Dubai, Delhi, Stockholm, Berlin, Lyon, Madrid, Mexico city, Rio De Janeiro, Chicago, San Francisco etc. 70% of our users are given self treatment advice, 30% are advised to see a doctor for further tests and examination (preventing patients delay). We have built a database on ICD coded images that can be used for machine learning. We have a preliminary Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can identify 33 skin diseases. In 24 months our AI will be better than any dermatologist at diagnosing skin diseases.
