You're In Business

The submission for 'FireWork' (thefirework.app) conflates a niche athlete influencer platform with the unrelated video commerce unicorn 'Firework' (firework.com). While the athlete app exists and has verifiable partnerships (e.g., AthletesCAN), the submission falsely claims the $750M valuation and market cap of the larger video commerce company. The traction claim ('most people have used my product') is demonstrably false. The score is heavily penalized for these significant misrepresentations and 'stolen valor' regarding revenue and scale.

Description
We have two products and another currently in development. The two that exist today are a web platform for brands and a mobile app for athletes (and their agents). The web platform consists of a portal that brands can go to in order to find athlete influencers that are perfect for their brand. The mobile app allows athletes to see incoming offers, accept payment and submit their content to brands so that brands can then approve before that athlete posts.
