Our approach is global, but our mission is deeply personal—born from Yalin’s journey and commitment to helping creators everywhere realise the stories they’ve always wanted to tell. Ever since his childhood, Yalin had dreamed of becoming a Pixar animator—a vision so powerful that it led him to Columbia University’s 3D Animation program. Although he couldn’t attend due to financial barriers, Yalin’s passion for storytelling didn’t wane. Instead, it evolved, guiding him through cinema studies, short film production, and ultimately a 7+ year journey at YouTube, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the creator economy. Today, that early passion has found a new channel through GenAI. In 2024, Yalin discovered how generative AI could finally bring his long-held stories to life, breaking down the barriers of funding and resources that once held him back. His GenAI films have since been selected as finalists at festivals like Stafford Film Festival and Indie Shorts Mag Film Festival. This transformative experience fuels our mission at filmique.ai: to empower others to tell their stories, connect with audiences, and unleash their creative visions.
