The European Startup Prize for Mobility is a high-prestige, EU-backed initiative with significant real-world utility in the sustainable mobility sector. Verified traction includes support from the European Parliament and major partners (BCG, Via ID) and over 500 annual applicants. However, the submission itself suffers from poor quality, including false claims in specific fields (e.g., 'most people have used my product', audience 'everyone') and a likely mismatched submitter name ('ShadowKeeper'). The score reflects the project's high institutional value significantly dampened by the unreliable submission data.

Description
More than just a prize: The European Startup Prize for mobility (EUSP) is a EU-founded Acceleration and Investment Programme for sustainable mobility startups. It was created in 2017 by Karima Delli, Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism, Boston Consulting Group and Via ID. Supported by both the European Parliament and the European Commission, together with major mobility corporations such as Groupe ADP, GRDF, Europcar Mobility Group and RATP Group, this public-private initiative aims to support and scale up smart and sustainable mobility startups all across Europe. Each year, 500+ startups apply to its Acceleration and Investment programme. The EUSP provides multiple investment opportunities as a “one-stop-shop” to EU funds (European Commission, European Investment Bank, EIT InnoEnergy and Urban Mobility) and private investors (Demo Day, ESAC Angels’ Club). In addition, 10 best startups benefit each year from a tailor-made mentoring from BCG and visibility in front of EU decision makers. Last but not least, the EUSP is an advocacy organisation that aims to structure and raise up the voices of the green innovation ecosystem. The first “European Mobility Startup Manifesto” was published earlier this year to take part in the European Commission’s Green Deal/Smart and Sustainable Mobility Strategy. The EUSP also provides cities and regional authorities with startup’s solutions and products.
