Eth-Agent presents a highly relevant and technically sound solution to a growing problem: AI agent safety in Web3. By enforcing constraints at the EVM level rather than the application layer, it offers robust security for autonomous agents. However, as an early-stage project utilized primarily in hackathons with minimal verified user adoption and no reported revenue, its traction and reach metrics reflect a promising but nascent dev tool.

Project Details

Description
ETH Agent Kit is an open-source TypeScript framework for autonomous Ethereum AI agents with on-chain safety built in. AgentWallet.sol enforces per-tx limits, daily caps, whitelisted addresses, and a guardian kill switch at the EVM level — constraints no agent can bypass. Scaffold a full agent in 60 seconds with the create-eth-agent CLI.
Audience Reach
ETH Agent Kit reaches developers building AI agents and DeFi automation tools on EVM chains. The two npm packages (eth-agent-kit and create-eth-agent) are publicly available at v0.1.4. The project has been used as the foundation for 4 separate hackathon submissions across Terminal 3, HackOnVibe, BNB Hack AI Trading, and Anna AI-Native App hackathons, expanding reach across multiple developer communities.
Target Users
Web3 and AI developers building autonomous agents that need to interact with Ethereum or any EVM-compatible chain safely. Also useful for DeFi teams building treasury automation, trading bots, or any system where an AI makes on-chain decisions without constant human oversight.
