You're In Business

The Electech Innovation Cluster (ETIC) is a verifiable UK-based non-profit supporting the electronics sector in Morecambe Bay. Search results confirm it has ~34 SME members with a collective revenue of £161M and government backing. However, the project submission itself is of extremely low quality, containing false claims (e.g., "most people have used my product"), a likely spam user alias ("ThunderHeart"), and confused metrics ("marketcap" vs. grant funding/collective revenue). While the entity has real-world regional utility, the submission fails to accurately represent it, resulting in a low score consistent with a niche, regionally-focused organization with poor documentation.

Description
The Electech Innovation Cluster (ETIC) was founded to maximise our members’ potential and provide an empowering collective voice, stimulating and driving inclusive growth and employment. Coming together to place the Morecambe Bay and South Lakes at the heart of the 4th Industrial Revolution, we harness innovative Electech technologies, supporting the transition to a low carbon economy and making the area a magnet for investment. Driven by innovation, design and improving manufacturing processes, the existing skills, infrastructure and supply chain enable the area to play a key role in helping to develop a sector of strategic importance to the UK’s economy. We have an ambitious agenda and are uniquely placed to bridge the gap between industry, government, education and research & development. Our aim is to overcome barriers such as the under-representation of local SMEs in the technology industry and the challenges of changing markets. We offer our members opportunity, collective resilience, partnership building and a supportive environment to scale-up their businesses.
