Bishop has published research findings in diverse areas including Design Automation, Formal Verification, Large System Architecture and Energy Management, Embedded Systems and Computational Finance. An IBM Master Inventor, Bishop holds nineteen US patents and is also a Sr. Member of the IEEE. In the financial services domain, his recent work has focused on high-performance computational finance, as well as the use of machine learning models for analysis and prediction of market movements. Bishop recently passed the third and final CFA exam and will soon apply for the CFA charter.
