Gaining Momentum

Capital Roots is a verified, long-standing (est. 1975) non-profit in NY's Capital Region with ~$3.3M annual revenue and significant real-world utility in food security. While the project is legitimate and impactful, the submission itself was poor, containing vague claims ('everyone', 'most people') and lacking technical detail. The score reflects strong organizational fundamentals and utility, penalized for a lack of technological innovation and low-quality submission evidence.
