We are passionate about making innovative and useful products that improve people’s lives, and we are experts at making pet waste easier to handle and easier to dispose. Our principals created the ScoopFree® self-cleaning litter box and FroliCat® family of electronic pet toys, which are consistently the best-rated and best-selling products in their respective categories. Our team grew sales to customers in 20 countries and sold ScoopFree and FroliCat to Petsafe® in December 2012. After some time off our team realized we missed solving hard problems together. Then one of us said, “We sorted out cats. How about dogs?!” We developed the BrilliantPad self-cleaning dog potty concept throughout 2015 and 2016, and we launched sales on Indiegogo and ABC’s hit television show Shark Tank in 2017. Then we conducted extensive research and collected customer feedback in 2018 and implemented product improvements and developed new products to increase product-market fit during 2019. The company launched BrilliantPad Smart in the Summer of 2020, which notifies users when their pup goes potty; sends a picture of the evidence to their smartphone; and lets pet parents replace soiled pads remotely. Vision-based machine learning systems evaluate waste output and frequency and identify potential health issues for review with veterinarians. BrilliantPad makes handling waste cleaner and more convenient and we make pets healthier.
