Bôndy is a social enterprise that operates in the field of reforestation in Madagascar. Our model is to address the causes of deforestation by involving local communities in the management of useful forests. We support these populations in the implementation of projects to make these forests profitable in a sustainable way. Essentially Bondy is an ecological, economic, social and educational project that has been designed to restore destroyed ecosystems and strengthen local populations. This is to ensure that Malagasy are the main actors of their success, to guarantee the sustainability of the project, its expansion and its independence to donors. On December 7, 2019 we will plant 1 million trees in one day with the help of 3000 volunteers. This event will showcase our project and allow us to gain the visibility and legitimacy necessary to achieve our long-term objective: to transform the red island into a green island.
