The Nexus Between Cybersecurity and Data Analytics (tm) Ash Grove Cyber LLC is an advanced cybersecurity Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) capabilities covering both preventative functions (inventories, governance, risk identification & prioritization, identity & access management, device patching) as well as reactive functions (monitoring, anomaly detection, response and recovery). Our preventative methods focus on ensuring that procedures and controls are established and being followed. Equally important is ensuring that proper risk evaluations and compensating controls are established for situations where exceptions are needed due to limitations on older devices which cannot be replaced. Our reactive methods focus on capturing and analyzing machine data stored in device log files to automate detection of network changes and anomalies. Beyond cybersecurity, data analytics methods such as machine learning can be used to automate business and industrial process reporting through web-based dashboards.
