**Role description:**\n\nAs a member of the brokerage team, you will work closely with retail brokers as they market management and professional liability risks. You will build close relationships with both brokers and carriers as you help them close deals as efficiently as possible. Finally, you will serve as a design partner to our engineering/product team as it builds tools that will empower you to do significantly more business more efficiently.\n\n**Contribution Areas:**\n\n* Build relationships with retail clients \n* Serve as a subject matter expert for client’s excess and surplus lines needs\n* Ensure applications are completed and submitted in a timely manner\n* Transfer applications from the Limit system to carriers through their channel of choice \n* Identify and implement ways to further expand Limit’s book of business\n* Work with technical team to scope tools that will enable the brokerage team to handle more business\n* Serve as a liaison between clients and the Limit operations team for all compliance and invoicing needs \n\n**Requirements:**\n\n* Bachelor’s degree\n* Active P\u0026amp;C license (Surplus lines license is a plus) \n* 3+ years in a broker or underwriting position \n* In depth knowledge of Management and Professional Liability policies and their technicalities\n* Strong written and verbal communication skills\n* Speed and attention to client services\n* A desire to build a more effective brokerage from the ground up \n* A willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure a rapidly growing book of business
