Alpenglow is an ultrafast, immutable Linux distribution that boots to login in as little as 0.6 seconds while using around 17 MB of RAM. It combines a tiny musl userspace, dinit, Oil packages, transactional system images, and a ram-loaded immutable rootfs to create a Linux system that feels closer to firmware-level speed than a traditional distro.
